The title of the Word: Powerful life believing invisible things in the hope
When God created man, He made him as a living soul. He also created the spirit by breathed life into the nostrils of man, and made man’s body with the dust of the ground to protect the spirit and soul (Genesis 2: 7).
According to the image and likeness of One divine God, the perfect man sinned to be fallen, and the Spirit of God was taken away by God, and the living soul has lost its vitality, and the body is getting old unto death. The body of man withers like grass as old tabernacle collapses with the passage of time, . Moses, the man of God who lived before the light of life came into this world through the Lord Jesus Christ, testified through his 120 years of age about the life of man without eternal life;
” For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
8Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
9For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. “(Psalm 90: 7-11).
That’s right! If God had not paid the price for the sins of man by being a man in the image of Adam , everyone born to the world would have been living in vain, and the living soul would not know where to go after death.. The old ancestors who knew this fact were saying that they would be wandering around in heaven. After giving a prayer to confess to God about the grace of life in this way, Moses gave a very important prayer of supplication. “ So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)
All the words of God have given to all spiritually dead people the grace of God when they receive the grace of the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, When Jesus came into the world, he testified through his own mouth saying, ” God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him, that the soul will not perish in dark hells, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16).
Apostle Paul testified that he had received eternal life by believing in his Lord Jesus Christ. But even though he had received eternal life, the body of man has become a body of sin as no one can erase the black skin of a black man or the black dot of a leopard. Therefore, the flesh of sin, as a tabernacle is worning out, and collapses, and gradually fades at the age of seventy or eighty.
But even though we live in the sinful body, and live in groaning, we have been living in the hope of putting on new body from heaven as a new home. As to this hope, Apostle Paul testified to the saints in Philippi: ” For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.“(Philippians 3: 20-21).
The body we are wearing now is the body of sin inherited by Adam, but we, who have believed in the grace of the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, who had an innocent body in the image of Adam are to put on the new body that is immortal and incorrupt as him, At this time, our body is restored to the full image of God with the living spirit and soul
However, the children of God who are saved must live in this sinful world until they are put on their new bodies. That is, we cannot give up our life by ourselves until God calls us to heavenly home. Therefore, God gave the Holy Spirit in order to be able to overcome this mortal body, and to give the ability to defeat the mortal body in the Spirit. Apostle Paul testified of this power as “the earnest of the Spirit.”
As to the earnest of this Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ehesians Church, ” In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospelof your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. “(Ephesians 1: 13-14).
Therefore, not only has he raised the dead spirit by giving the Holy Spirit to all those who have believed in Him, but also with the guarantee that He will receive the inheritance given to him as much as the works by the body when He comes back.
Apostle Paul testified to the saints in Rome that this promised inheritance was an inheritance to be received from our Heavenly Father. Of course, in the inheritance we also receive a new body that we will receive, as well as a place in heaven that Jesus promised to His disciples as they went. When Jesus spoke of the dwelling of heaven for the children of God, “there are many mansions in my Father’s house” (John 13: 2). Jesus showed John the Apostle taking him up to heaven and showed him what Jesus had prepared by showing the New Jerusalem in detail (Revelation 21: 9-27)
To the saints in distress and persecution, what is the greatest inheritance of such miraculous inheritance, Apostle Paul testified: ” The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. “(Romans 8: 16-18)
The glory appeared in the Bible is revealed when the Lord Jesus Christ comes again in glory. Therefore, the glory that we receive will receive as much as we have worked by our body, suffering for him when Christ comes. Apostle Paul testified about this unto Timothy, the pastor of the greatest inheritance, is ruling with Christ, and that he must suffer with Christ in the present world in order to receive the inheritance. ” If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:. “(2 Timothy 2:12)
Apostle Paul testified to the faithful saints to live a life of faith:
” Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him “(2 Corinthians 5: 6-9)
Therefore, we must live a life that pleases God while we live in the present world. The life of the present world is ended in the day when our soul leaves the body. In this short life, the way to please God is to be patient and enduring in the midst of suffering for the Lord. Apostle Paul testified how he lived life pleasing God :
” Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” (II Corinthians 12:10)
The Apostle Paul testified that the children of God should be judged how they pleased God before they entered the kingdom of heaven after they had taken off the tents of the flesh:
” For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10)
The world as well as spiritually young Christians see the Christian who suffer all kinds of sufferings to please God as fanatics. Apostle Paul and his co-workers were told that they were crazy from the people. But he spoke unto the spiritually ignorant people, saying, ” For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.” (2 Corinthians 5:13)
When Apostle John testified of the three things in the world, ” For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.(1 John 2: 15-17).
There are three kinds of people in the world. First one that is crazy to God, second one that is crazy to the lust of the world and third that lives just for eating and drinking The Lord Jesus rebuke the Laodicea church as they are the second and third type. . ” So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth“(Revelation 3:16).
Do we live crazy to God? Or are we just living and eating? It is time to examine again. Amen! Hallelujah!
