The contemplation of the week: Psalm 16: 1-11
Text: I Peter 1:1-25
The title of the Word: Let us love one another fervently by purifying our souls  obeying the truth

Through  Apostle Peter, the Holy Spirit speaks to the saints who have been called and justified through God’s foreknowledge, born again by the Holy Spirit, and sanctified.

He prayed for the children of God to be filled with grace and peace   who are chosen by the sprinkling of  blood of Jesus Christ through obeying the gospel unto sanctification.

When Jesus spoke to the religious people who did not believe in him, he said that things  outside does not defile them, but that what comes out of their hearts defiles them. He spoke one by one of the thirteen iniquities that came out of  them:
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. “(Mark 7: 21-23)

Through Jesus’ words, everyone born in this world is born with these things in genetic factors(DNA), regardless of his will. Because  these things are in men, these are to defile themselves. It is as if the garbage can be made of a good material and is wiped out, there is still full of garbage inside It is applied to the body of man.

All these dirty things in the heart of man cannot be cleansed by anyone. Only the blood of Jesus Christ, the innocent and pure blood of the Jesus Christ who is God, can cleanse them and sanctify them. Therefore, when we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, His blood cleanse our heart  in our soul, and we are chosen  to be children of God.

As to this sprinkling of  the blood, Jesus  spoke to the Jews  but they did not realize that the word was difficult to understand for them:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

55For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

57As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. .(John 6: 53-58)

Saying about them who are sanctified by the sprinkling of the Blood of Jesus Christ, Apostle Peter testified that their old men born with DNA of Adam are considered  died on the cross with Jesus Christ; and let them born again through the Holy Spirit to have lively hope.

From this time on, they  no longer belong to the world, but they comes the children of God in heaven. They are looking forward  to the eternal inheritance in  heaven  incorruptible,  and  faded not away

Also, while the saved children of God will suffer and trials from the rulers of the world while living in this world, they will be protected by the power of God. In addition, when they receive trials, they will have to mourn for a moment, but they will be much more precious than the gold that is tried by the fire, and they will be able to rejoice greatly, realizing the will of God to receive praise, honor, and glory in Christ’s day . They can thank and rejoice by believing in God, who works together to accomplish all things  work together for good. (Romans 8:28; 1 Thess. 5: 16-18).

God is gracious to the humble. Whosoever humbly acknowledges that he is a sinner, and when he comes to God, Jesus who died two thousand years ago ,and believes that Jesus died for his sins and resurrected for eternal life Faith is the gift of God,  for those who received this faith,  Apostle Peter testified:
“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see himnot, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. ” (1 Peter 1: 8-9)

The soul in the human body was  made living soul so that the soul of man cannot to die at all. The Bible testifies to this:

” And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2: 7)

           When God created man  to make  spirit, soul, and body as  one, and he was perfectly created in the image and  likeness of God, just as the Father, Word, and Holy Spirit are one. In other words, He was made to live forever by the breath of life. But by accepting the sin by  the first man Adam, which was brought from the fallen devil out of heaven, eternal life was to go away. However, the soul that lost eternal life was in a state of mortal destiny. But God, who did not create man in vain, died and is resurrected to save the soul that has become one with the dead body..

          Recognizing the fact that his soul is attached to the mortal body, King David prayed for his soul to be saved through Christ, the Word of God to come:

” My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.” (Psalm 119: 25)

             That’s right! Apostle Paul testified of  the soul of  man who is bound to the body of sin, and who is forced to perish with eternal destruction with the devil of death; God performs the circumcision of Christ separating the soul from the body of sin to save by faith in Jesus Christ:

” In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:”, (Colossians 2:11)

            Apostle Paul testified that the circumcision of Christ is done by the word of God, the sword of the Holy Spirit: ” For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

              The Word of God, which is a sharper   than the laser, enters into the believer, and separates the soul that is deeply attached to the body of sin, and cleanses  the filthy sins in his soul with his blood, and saves him from eternal destruction to eternal life.

              Therefore, the soul that has been cleansed by the pure blood of the  Lord Jesus Christ is able to love brothers in Christ with unfeigned love. Apostle Peter encourage them  to love one another  with a pure heart.  Apostle Paul also testified of  keeping the heart always pure:

” That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5: 26-27)

              Also, Apostle Paul testified why the church of God, the congregation of children of God born through the Holy Spirit, should be blameless and without divination:

” And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” (Eph. 1:22-23)

             That’s right! Before God destroy the Satan  that brought  sin, death, and curse, God has been waiting for six thousand years as six days to make born again children of God through his death and resurrection to be the helping spouse  to Jesus Christ that is the last Adam as Eve to Adam. God will judge the world following the prince of the world, the Devil not believing on him; and he will fill the whole universe in all as he filled the earth with all things when he made the earth.   . At this time, the children of God, who are born again  shall become a helping hand of the Lord Jesus Christ and will join in His ministry.

            Apostle Peter testified of the final judgment to come into the world:

” Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; “(2 Peter 3: 10-14).
