The Meditation of the Week: Psalm 2: 1-12

Text: Acts 3: 19-26

The title of the Word: The Lord Jesus Christ in heaven until all things are restored

              After the coming of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ to the world on the Day of Pentecost, Apostle Peter, who received the Holy Spirit by faith, and  received eternal life witnessed to the Jews understanding of the only true Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ whom He sent .

          At that time the Jews did not know who Jesus was,  and denied Jesus, the holy and righteous God, and killed the ruler of life. The Holy Spirit said through the mouth of the Apostle Peter that they had done so in ignorance. He also testified that what they did not know was that God had accomplished what God proclaimed through his prophet’s mouth that Christ, their Messiah, should suffer.

          But God testified that their sins will be cleared when the time comes when the Lord Jesus Christ will come and be renewed in the future if they repent and turn away from the murder charges they did not know.

           He is also doing to restore all things while he is in heaven, and  the restoration is not only to the Jews but also to all men that that shall repent and believe in him to receive the Holy Spirit as promised to their father,  Abraham, as saying, “In thee, shall all families of the earth be blessed.” He testified that by giving the Holy Spirit to all those who believe in Christ, they shall be blessed to receive the eternal life.

           That’s right! It is the Lucifer that is the Devil and Satan rebelled in heaven that corrupted the man who was created perfectly in the image of God.   By his appearance, Jesus  died for the sin of the world and rose again from the dead to destroy the power of sin and death . Now he is waiting for all the nations of people  to believe in him to be restored in the image of God again.

          In the words of Jesus, who is God, came to the land of Israel  in flesh, and asked them to  pray to them to fulfill the ministry of restoration:,

 ”   After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6: 9-10)

           Just as God has accomplished His will in heaven by casting out  the Lucifer to destroy him from the heaven , now it is time to destroy him  from the earth to fulfill his will in the earth through prayer

           For the sin, death and curses inherited from the first man, we have seen everyday fullness of them in the earth.  The scripture witnesses of the Eden before the first man was fallen:  :

 ” And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

10And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

11The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

12And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

13And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

14And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. “(Genesis 2: 8-15)

        The Garden of Eden was the garden of God, full of life, peace, and grace, with no shadow of sin, death, and curses. Adam and Eve were the best stewards who ruled and governed all things, and were blessed with the best blessings that they could have lived with God forever and ever.

          However, because of Lucifer, that was  the Garden of Eden, the kingdom of God, quickly became the kingdom of Satan, and the first man, who was the steward of God, was fallen down to be  the servant of Satan. But God has allowed this for a little while, and he planned to restore man first who was made  in the image of God among all things, because  the man who gave up to Satan the soul and the spirit and body altogether that God has given to sin by sin became the  slave to death.

           But God has given all men  the  blessing to recover in an instant when they comes to the Lord Jesus Christ to repent and to be  healed of  sin, death, and s through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, he is in heaven waiting for the coming of them  toward  Him who is the true healer with repentance.  In His timely-dispensation, when  He comes, the door of salvation   is to be closed.

           When He comes back to the world, He will restore this earth and all that are within  it. He will also recreate this earth  like the old Garden of Eden. The prophet Isaiah testified of this in the Holy Spirit:

 ” The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. “(Isaiah 11: 6-10)

           The world that the prophet Isaiah saw was that the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords come and judged the world, and after renewing all things for a thousand years, witnessed what was happening when he reigned with the children of God who were raptured.

             God, after a thousand years, will free the devil who was cast  into the bottomless pit  for a little while, so that God  will  allow Satan to temp the world again to find out the remnant  among many people as the sea sands  and only the remnant chosen by the Lord Jesus Christ shall be led to the eternal kingdom of God .

             Apostle John testified in the Spirit of the  children of God born of the Spirit to dwell  in the eternal house  in heaven  as well as the new people who shall live in the eternal kingdom of God in the earth.

 ” And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. “(Rev. 21: 1-4)

          Finally, after God  accomplished His will on earth as He has done in heaven, He will proclaim the Word from the throne. Apostle John, who had seen this magnificent scene, testified:

 ” And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. “(Rev. 21:5)

         God told all these things to those who have heard:

 ” And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. “(Revelation 21: 6-7)

            Apostle John, who testified of all these words, ended the book of Revelation encouraged sincerely  to all the nations of the present age:

 ” He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. “(Rev. 22:20-21). Hallelujah!
