1-6-2019 New Year’s Message

The contemplation of the week: Psalm 99:1-9

Text: Isaiah 43:8-21

Theme of the Word: LORD God will do new thing in the earth for repenting Jews and Gentile nations

       Through Apostle Paul, the Holy Spirit gave a very important message to the children of God in the Church of Corinthians:

” Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:” (1 Corinthians 10:32)

        God has made his eternal plan for the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of God. Even though we study God’s Words thoroughly, we are not able to understand without the wisdom of God and understanding. .We see  those people who claim themselves  belong to the Church of God, but among all those who do not understand God’s will, still trying to persuade their arguments without realizing God’s will for the Jewish Israel and the Gentile nations. One of the mistakes made by international political scientists who do not know God’s will  asserting their thoughts are to become offence against Israel.

         Today there are over seven billion people on the earth who live for their own benefit in their lands. For thousands of years ago God had made his plan to make the Jews and the Gentiles as well as his church.  Since first man sinned and Satan took possession of  ruling on the earth given by God, God took Enoch to heaven for him not see death after he had walked with God three hundred years:

” And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him “(Genesis 5: 21-24).

          Since then, God had seen the wickedness of all the inhabitants of the earth after many years, choosing Noah, one of the sons of Enoch, seeking grace in the eyes of God, God planned to choose his people Israel among his descendants . After a thousand years, God chose Abram from the descendants of Shem, and he called and planned to make a tribe of Israel through the twelve sons of his grandson Jacob, and said to Abram:

” Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.. “(Gen. 12: 1-3)

          God will direct Abraham’s descendants into the eyes as fire and bless those who believe in Jesus Christ, who will appear in his descendants in the future. He will also curse one who  curses him without exception . God also promised to give Abraham’s descendants the land of Palestine where the first Adam was taken by Satan in the Garden of Eden. In that promise, Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, appeared as Abraham’s offspring and died for the sins of the world, removing the sin of the world, appearing on the earth after the resurrection, judging the world ruled by Satan, and he will take over the earth again:

” In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. “(Genesis 15: 18-21).

         Satan, who knew the promise of God given to Abraham  manifested God  has been deceiving all the nations to reign in the earth forever using his Principalities, the power, the rulers of darkness and evil spirits.  The whole world, that has been deceived by Satan, are still trying to kill all the Jews to sweep them into the Mediterranean sea.

        In particular, Satan, through World War II, planned to kill all the Jews using  Hitler of the Nazis together with Roman Catholic group.  They killed  six million of them at that time, but God cursed the Nazi group and the Roman church : and God has kept the people of Israel to the end. Nonetheless, the United Nations, which was established for world peace after World War II, has been uncovered all over the world for the purpose of Satan’s plan to drive out Israel from the land of Palestine. In addition, most Christian denominations that are  claiming to be the church of God also helping Satan making wrong doctrine as replacement theology claiming Israel has been forsaken by their God.

          God proclaimed long time ago that through the prophet Isaiah he would do a  new things on the earth:

” I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 9Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. “(Isa 42: 8-9).

         God once again spoke through the prophet Isaiah about what new things he proclaimed:

” Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. 20The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. 21This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. “(Isaiah 43: 18-21)

         But the people of Israel rejected their Messiah and killed him who will do a new thing restoring their land for them after he dies for their sins and rise again   But Jesus prayed to the Father to forgive not only the Jews but all the sins of the Gentiles. He will restore the earth and bring Jews and Gentiles to live together.

          Finally, the prophet Isaiah testified again of the Lord Jesus Christ, who appeared to do the new things:

”   Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. “(Isaiah 60: 1-4)

         Yet, most Jews and Gentile nations still do not believe in Jesus Christ, who is doing the new thing in the coming days and doing new thing to make them live in blessed lands. God has prepared another new work to save the Jews and Gentile nations. that is a week, that is , a seven-year Great Tribulation, and to have all Jews and Gentiles who do not believe in Him pass the same time as a great blast furnace, to pioneer them, to repent, and finally to receive the blessings of new work as God planned. The prophets Daniel and Jeremiah testified about this:

” Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it…. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”(. Jeremiah 30: 7, Daniel 12: 1)

         Then the prophet Zechariah testified about the Jews who shall repent finally and to be saved and to participate in the new work of God:

” And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn…. In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” (Zech. 12:10; 13: 1)

           Returning to the throne, the Second Coming Jesus himself to do the new thing spoke about the judgment of the Gentile nations that had helped the repenting Jews in the midst of the Great Tribulation and the nations against the Israel:

” When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ….. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me……. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”(Matthew 25: 31-34; 40, 46).

             The Church of God, born of the Holy Spirit, is the helping spouse of God who will do new things in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, the church of God is responsible to witness of the new thing that is going to be done for the Jews and Gentiles. Especially when we pray for our country, Korea, we need to intercede  to be a sheep nation. Right now I have to pray with tears as we see Korea standing on the side of  cursing Israel.

         The Church of God is to help the Lord Jesus Christ  until the day he comes back with him filling all in all. Apostle Paul testified of his faith: “
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. “(Philippians 3: 12-14). Amen! Hallelujah!
