The contemplation of the week: Psalm 5:1-12

Text: Romans 1:18-32

The title of the Word: Judgment Seat of white throne of God; and Judgment Seat of Christ

           Apostle Paul testifies of the wrath of God through the iniquity of the Gentiles:

     The invisible God’s things belonging to Him have been clearly shown in His creation, and even His eternal power and deity (Trinity) are known by creation, but they hold on to truth in unrighteousness without holding on to the truth.

        They know God, but they do not give glory to God, they do not appreciate, their minds and imaginations are vanquished, they give glory to man rather than God, and they even serve the birds and beasts that God has made.

         Towards the nations that have forsaken God and are on the path of apostasy, God has left them as lusts of their hearts, and has made their bodies obscure. It is because they are abandoned by worshiping and serving the creature more than the Creator. By having God blasphemed their bodies, all homosexuals have become so full of themselves that they live in all kinds of filthy sicknesses.

         Their conscience knew God, but because of their dislike of putting God in their knowledge, God caused them to do all kinds of unrighteous things because God left them in abandonment:

“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:“ (Romans 1:29-31)

        Above all, they know that God’s judgment on those who do these things is death penalty, but they rather continue to do these things, and have pleasure in them that do these things.

         The Bible says that God will prepare one day to judge these people, and that God will sit down on his throne himself and will judge according to what each one does. Apostle John saw this scene in the Holy Spirit and testified with certainty:

” And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. “(Rev. 20: 11-15)

           Those who do at least one of the evil things listed above must be judged according to the death penalty and fall into the lake of fire and suffer for ever and ever. Over the last 6,000 years, many people have been born and have died. There are Adam and Eve who lived in the Garden of Eden, and  people who lived before the law, and people who lived in the law, and those who lived after Jesus Christ took away  the sin of the world and sent the Holy Spirit.

          When the first man Adam and Eve sinned and hid themselves before  God. God came to them, and made garments of leather for them to save them.  God made two beasts shed blood for them killing them.  Without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:22). The law of justice of God has caused two beasts to shed blood to forgive them.

         Until the age of the law came after Adam, people were in accordance with the law of conscience. Also,  :

The Jews who  received the law from God had to keep the law to obey the law.  Apostle Paul testified about this time:

” For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.” (Romans 2: 14-16)

         We need to know through the history of the Bible that in the days of Noah, all the people except Noah and seven other members of his family were condemned and judged by water. In addition, we must remember that all of those who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah, except Lot, were judged by God. None of them had obeyed the law in their conscience. Also, only those who kept the law in the time of the law were in bosom of Abraham after death, and were able to  resurrect and raptured.

           In this age, there is no one who is able to escape from the judgment of God until God dies to  take away the sin of the world. Therefore, Jesus received all the evil deeds upon his body which Apostle Paul enumerated, including the original sin which Adam  made, and all the people of the world received the judgment that all men should be sentenced to death without exception, He died and was buried. He went to the hell that we had to go and resurrected. Therefore, according to the Bible, when Christ died for our sins and buried, we can not escape from the judgment without believing in the Lord Jesus Christ who was raised on the third day according to the scriptures.

           But those who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and whose soul have been saved and become children of God will also stand in the judgment seat. It is judgment seat of Christ. The Apostle Paul testified about the judgment seat of Christ different from  the judgment seat of God’s  white  throne. Apostle Paul testified of the judgment seat of Christ:

“ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad….. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. “(2 Corinthians 5:10, Romans 14:10)

           The judgment seat of Christ is also to give rewarding  seat for the good that we pleased God.   Apostle Paul testified:

” According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. “(1 Corinthians 3 : 10-15)

          Apostle Paul testified that Christians are not to follow the flesh but  the Holy Spirit for receiving rewards in the judgment seat of Christ:

” This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the

 Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I.  tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God “(Galatians 5: 16-21)
