너를 축복하는 자들에게 내가 복을 주고 너를 저주하는 자를 저주하리라.
네 안에서 땅의 모든 족속들이 복을 받을 것이라." 하셨더라. (창 12:3)

11-24-2019 Weekly Message (Thanksgiving Message)
Meditation of the week: Psalms 49:1-20
Text: Psalm 100:1-5
Message title: Reasons to give thanks to God of  the birth in the world
The Bible tells everyone born in the world to hear the word of God:
” Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: 2Both low and high, rich and poor, together. 3My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.” (Psalm 49: 1-3)
The word of God also tells us to thank God when we hear and understand the word of the Lord.
” Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. ” (Psalms 100:4-5)
Biologists say that every person born in the world is born through huge competition. Every man and woman are also  born in the midst of  the risk of miscarriage while in mother’s womb for nine months. Hundreds of millions of sperm who could have been conceived in the mother’s womb must be failed  in order to give birth to one.
But unfortunately, many people who are born into the world are blaming themselves for being born into the world and sometimes taking their own lives. Someone is now too poor from the  birth or hopeless or in  incurable  diseases or refrained from being severely insulted by others, and so on for a number of other reasons, they taking their own life.
God’s saying is that these miserable things are still happening being ignorant of  God’s goodness and mercy. Most people are due to the so-called selfish way of thinking that they are born into the world to be  rich and healthy, and or to receive praise and glory from others. But when their will is not fulfilled, they finally blames God.
But this misjudgment is because they do not know what God’s goodness and mercy are. In other words, because they do not know what is the purpose of  God for them to be born into the world. If we do not read, hear, and study the Words of God, it is impossible for us to understand the will of God..
Apostle Paul testified of what God wants for all of us to understand of our birth into the world:
” Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2: 4).
He also testified of the salvation:
” But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. “(Titus 3: 4-7).
We must here realize the meaning of the mysterious words of “washing of regeneration“, “renewing of the Holy Ghost“, “salvation“, “hope of eternal life“, and “to be heirs.”  Before we understand these words, the first thing we need to know is that no matter how poorly, weakly, or miserably we were born, in other word, we are born too unfairly, the five blessings mentioned above are given to everyone without discrimination.  In fact, those born into the world in miserable situations may receive these blessings in ahead of others. Jesus said:
” Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. ”(Matthew 5: 3-6).
Jesus also said that he came to preach the gospel to the poor:
” The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. “(Luke 4: 18- 19)
That’s right! When God came to the world in the name of Jesus, the world had been sorely broken by sin, death, and curses for four thousand years after the devil brought sin to the world, and all men had been taken captive by Satan. Jesus came to save all those born in the world  living in misery from Satan’s hands through save them with grace by giving them joy.
God wants to save the people who are born in the world and suffer from the hand of Satan, and lead them to the kingdom of God to bless them. Therefore Jesus said to them:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.…. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.…  Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. “(Matthew 6:33, John 3: 3,5).
The word “washing of regeneration” refers to the rebirth of the person born of the mother with water. The word  “Regeneration” means to save man from the world and to be born again in the kingdom of God to renew and save. In other word, when we receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith believing in the  blood of Jesus Christ, his blood saves us by washing away all sin, death, and curses, by receiving the Holy Spirit and putting of  the old man inherited from Adam. Therefore, no matter how miserable we are in the world, we can be God’s children and become heirs of God in the spiritual kingdom of God.
Apostle Paul testified of the kingdom of God in which these blessed people live:
” For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” (Romans 14:17).
No matter how miserable people living in the land of North Korea, those who are born again by the Holy Spirit and enter the kingdom of God spiritually also  dwell in this blessing. they live more in peace and joy rather than people living in Korea or America not born again yet of the Holy Spirit.
The children of God who are born again are living in the Holy Spirit even though they are still poor, sick or miserable in the flesh, so that the righteousness, peace, and joy given by the Holy Spirit can overcome the carnal things  living in the hope.  God is miraculously providing them what to eat and to wear.
God’s will for this world is to  regenerate them who believe in Jesus Christ to restore them to God’s image, and judge Satan and all the people who do not believe in Him. Then he will come again to destroy them.  Afterwards he will regenerate the earth again defiled by sin and death and curses. . Jesus promised his disciples before he departed the earth:
” And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.‘” Matthew 19:28)
Regeneration means that even the earth destroyed by sin, death, and curse shall finally be “regenerated” to be born again to be  restored when Jesus comes back. In other words, both man and the earth are renewed together.  Apostle John testified of this seeing such a wonderful scene in the Holy Spirit:
” And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Rev. 21: 4).
That’s right! Only those born in this world shall be blessed to live with God forever when they see this eternal new heaven and new earth. Even though born, poor, hard, and miserable, if we are renewed by receiving life through the washing of regeneration through faith in Jesus Christ, we shall participate in the eternal blessings that God has prepared. That is why we should give thanks to God  for the blessings born into the world.
Amen! Hallelujah!
