Meditation of the week: Psalms 24:1-10

Text: 2 Corinthians 6:11-18

Title:  Message to be Separated from the Wicked Idols (WCC,WEA)at the End Time

         God divides all things apart from the creation of all things

” And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness….. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so…. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night;  ….. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,….
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”(Gen.  1: 4,7,14,17,18)

          God separated the first man from Eden when he sinned:

” So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:24).

          When Cain killed his brother Abel, God separated the wicked Cain from the righteous Abel:

 “And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.” Gen. 4:16

         In addition, God planned to judged the world by the flood, chose a man, Enoch who had walked with him three hundred years separating him from the wicked world. Finally God took him to heaven and separated him from the world forever:

” And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. “(Genesis 5: 21-24).

          Apostle Paul testified of Enoch:

” By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. “(Hebrews 11: 5-6)

          Therefore, Enoch is the very important message for Christians who are living in the final moment before the Great Tribulation waiting for the day of Christ to be translated to heaven to be separated from the wicked world forever:

         In addition, God showed through Noah a message to those who could not be raptured and enter into the Great Tribulation, who would be saved in the midst pf God’s judgment:

” By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” (Hebrews 11: 7).

          Jesus, who is going to reappear after the great tribulation and to save the believers, spoke about what is like to prepare the ark as Noah:

” But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. “(Matthew 24: 37-39).

       Peter also testified of a few who shall be saved barely in the great tribulation:

” And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: 8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:”(2 Peter 2: 5-9).

          Apostle Paul confessed that when he was saved and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, he not only was separated from  the world, but he also separated unto the gospel of Christ:

” Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

2(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)” (Romans 1: 1- 2)

            In the words given this week, Apostle Paul gives a clear testimony of how Christians living in the end times must be separated to be raptured in the day of Christ:

 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6: 14-18)

           Apostle Paul testified of this message, saying not his own word, but saying “the Lord Almighty  Said” very clearly.

         We live in the last of the last days. In other words, the day of Christ and the Great Tribulation are in our sight. Now it is clear seen who is believer or unbeliever, righteousness and injustice, Christ and Belial, the temple and idols of God. In general, when we distinguish between believers and unbelievers, we are vaguely thinking of churchgoer or no, but in this age it is revealed that believers and unbelievers exist in the church. The Holy Spirit clearly testifies of the true believer by prophesying through Apostle John:

 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world…. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. “(1 John 4: 1; 5: 1).

         Therefore, even if  calling Jesus as the Lord, if they are attending the church belonging to the denomination being united with WCC, WEA, and Roman Catholics  participating in religious pluralism and do not clearly believe and testify of the Christ as the truth as the only way, truth, and life , they are really united with idols.   Therefore they must come out immediately and be separate from them (2 Corinthians 6:17).

          We must be able to hear the voice of warning of Jesus in his word:

” Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. “(Matthew 7:21)
