Meditation of the week: Psalm 91:1-16

Text: Psalm 12:1-8

Title: For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD

         Two thousand years ago, John the Baptist and Jesus cried out, “Repent! The kingdom of heaven is near!” But the chosen people Israel not received Him not wanted the heavenly kingdom in the earth.  They rebelled against God’s word that God would establish His kingdom on the earth, but rather stood with the Roman Empire that was ruling them at that time. Finally, they killed Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in heaven and earth by hanging him on the cursed wooden cross.

       Finally, on the third day, after the resurrected Jesus ascended to the throne in heaven, Apostle Peter, who was filled with the Holy Spirit that came on the Day of Pentecost on the tenth day, turned to the Jews who killed him, saying, ” Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36).

       For the past two thousand years after the Lord Jesus Christ sat on the throne in heaven, God has been sitting on the right side of God’s throne, waiting for the world to believe in and receive Him.

         But, through the mouth of King David, the Holy Ghost gave a message of reproof against the nations of the world still not recognizing him as king, rebuking that Israel and the Gentile nations not receiving him as their king, and that they are still doing things in vain:

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.“(ps. 2:1-4)

         The Holy Ghost also spoke of how he would mock them in the future, proclaiming that in the future, the Lord Jesus Christ, whom they did not accept as king, would be made by God as the king in Zion, Jerusalem, where they rejected him and killed him.

” Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.” (Psalm 2:5-7)

        In addition, God also spoke clearly of the realm of the sovereignty of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ:

” Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.” (Psalm 2:8-9)

         The Holy Ghost said that in the future, when the Lord Jesus Christ come to judge the world to establish his millennial kingdom, then he will not be the Lord of grace anymore, but  the God of justice, and will rule the whole world with iron rod. In doing so, God gave a warning to the Principalities, Powers, the rulers of the darkness of the world and the evil spirits in high places, who have been ruling the world under the Devil:

“Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Saved LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. “(Psalm 2:10-12)

        Even though God’s strict word has been proclaimed, they do not care about it. Rather, they have formed an organization called the United Nations and are planning to unite the whole world into one with their own power. All nations, including Israel, set up their minds to receive the  Antichrist as their king. Now they are waiting for the Antichrist, the son of perdition and the man of sin, who will bring forth world peace, and they are ready to fight against the coming Lord Jesus Christ to lead the whole world unto destruction. Jesus told the Jews who not received Him that they would receive the Antichrist in the future when he appears in his name:

” I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” (John 5:43).

           The Holy Ghost prophesied through the psalmist about the scene of coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory in the midst of rejoicing all the mountain and the plants when he finally appear to the world to judge the whole world  to establish his kingdom:

” Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.” (Psalm 96:11-13).

         The Holy Ghost also prophesied about the scene of the Lord Jesus Christ’s reigning in the world, when the earth rejoices, and He judges his enemies:

” The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. 3A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. 4His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

5The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

6The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. 7Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods..” (Psalm 97:1-7)

        In addition, the Holy Ghost spoke to Christians who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved and waiting for the rapture before the Great Tribulation, as well to the remnant of Israel who repent during the Great Tribulation:

” Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. 11Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. 12Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.” (Psalm 97:10-12).

         In the present world in the end times, we see that the godly ones are ceasing;  for  the faithful fails from  among the children of man. Most of the  people in the world; flattering lips, and the tongue , and double heart do they speak saying, “Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? ” (Psalm 12:4).

         In order to bring sin, death, and curse into the world, and to enslave the people of the world, for the past six thousand years, the devil, the old serpent, has used his Principalities, the Powers, the rulers of the darkness of the world, and the evil spirits in the high places to enslave the world. All things that are existing on the earth have been plundered from the hands of all nations and all the nations have been enslaved in poverty. In particular, over the past hundreds of years, using the  Freemason, Illuminati, and Deep State, the devil has been taking all their wealth to make all nations groaning in poverty and sickness. In addition, even churches of God have been brought into the WCC, WEA, and NCCK to be apostate. Because of this, when the Antichrist appears sooner or later, even most of the churches shall be judged in the midst of the Great Tribulation to be desolated.

          In these last days, the psalmist prophesied of the Lord Jesus Christ, who finally arise from the throne to judge the world and save the suffering children of God:

” For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him..” (Psalm 12:5)

         That’s right! Sooner or later the Lord Jesus will stand up from his throne to appear in the air to bring his bride to the secured  heavenly places.

          All the words of God are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace    of earth, purified seven times.  Also, all the words of the Lord have been preserved forever in the hand of Almighty God. Therefore, all of God’s words will not disappear, even one point one stroke shall be completely fulfilled. Although the mean people laugh at the power of God’s word to be exalted by men, and these wicked people walk on every side, but finally when the Lord Jesus comes, they shall be judged in the lake of fire forever and ever. Amen Hallelujah!
