Word title: God’s Plan of Salvation and the Final Great White Throne Judgment
God still wants everyone to be saved, not to be judged and destroyed:
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4 KJV)
These words, which Apostle Paul testified to Pastor Timothy, are for all who are living in the Age of Grace after the Lord Jesus Christ died and was resurrected as a sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. All who lived during the age of conscience without the law for 2,500 years since Adam. And all who lived during the Age of Law 1,500 years before the gospel of Christ’s grace was preached to the world. And finally he is referring to all Gentiles and Jews who lived during the Great Tribulation period after the day of Christ, which is after the Rapture, who were as numerous as the sands of the sea during Christ’s Millennial Kingdom.
When Adam sinned because he could not overcome the temptation of the serpent, God knew that he was hiding from His face. So God took pity on their weakness and saved them by covering them with coats of skins. However, God made all of Adam’s descendants pay for their sins.
With the exception of Noah and his family, God destroyed everyone through the Flood upon seeing the hearts and imaginations of all who existed during the 1,000 years after Adam were only evil.
In order to become a sinner before God, sin cannot be established without the law given by God. Apostle Peter testified that God did not send them all to hell, but imprisoned their souls:
¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1 Peter 3:18-20 KJV)
After the judgment of the flood, God called Abram among the descendants of Shem, gave his grandson Jacob a new name, Israel, and chose his descendants to become his chosen people. It was an era when all people in the world lived with conscience without the law until he called Moses to gave them the law after having them experience the life of slavery in Egypt for 400 years. The Holy Spirit testified through the Apostle Paul God’s plan of salvation for all who lived in the Age of Conscience:
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:14-16 KJV)
In order to save and judge countless people who lived before the law was given, God, who is love, opens the records of their acts according to their conscience at the final judgment seat after the end of the Millennial kingdom of Christ. Apostle John, who saw this scene, testified:
¶ And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15 KJV)
There are a few things we need to know through the scene of the Great White Throne Judgment.
First, all these dead were those who died before the Law God gave was proclaimed to the world. God’s standard of judgment is not based on the law, but rather whether or not they have acted according to the conscience given by God.
Second, this is when death is thrown into the lake of fire. The very death that came through the devil since Adam will finally fall into the lake of fire forever. Apostle Paul testified that death is the enemy:
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (1 Corinthians 15:26 KJV)
Thirdly, all who did not keep the law and those who fell into hell because they did not believe in the gospel of the grace of Christ, will be in hell at the Great White Throne Judgment, and will fall into the eternal lake of fire together with hell.
Fourth, through the words that whosoever is not written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire, we see that some will be written in the book of life even at the Great White Throne Judgment.
Whether they are small or great, God, who is love, wants to save even one more person by giving grace to each and every person who has lived for the past 6,000 years in all ages.
When the apostle Paul wrote to the Church of Corinth he said: Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: (1 Corinthians 10:32 KJV)
God has shown us evidence over time that He loves all: whether they be the chosen people of Israel; the Jews who were given the Law, or the Gentiles who never received the Law and lived according to their Conscience, or from among the both groups of Jews and Gentiles, the church of God who are saved by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and became God’s children.
That is why, among those born into the world, God has set different positions for the saved Jew, Gentile, or the Church of God, who has become the bride of Christ, to occupy in the everlasting kingdom of God. If you look at the scene of Christ’s wedding ceremony in Psalm 45 and Revelation 19, you will see the blessed guests who were invited to celebrate the wedding ceremony besides the bride of Christ. John the Baptist testified that he was full of joy as the groom’s friend, for he was a man near the end of the Age of Law:
All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. (Psalm 45:8-9 KJV)
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. (Revelation 19:9 KJV)
All saved Jews, Gentiles, and God’s children, who have been saved during the past seven thousand years, including the Millennial Kingdom, will live in God’s eternal Kingdom of the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem without death and curses. The Jews as a nation of priests in the new earth. The Church, the bride of Christ, in New Jerusalem. And the Gentiles will migrate to the eternal stars in the new heaven and live in fullness. Apostle Paul testified that the church of God, the bride of Christ, will do the work of filling all things:
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:22-23 KJV)
