Daniel 17

Let’s start with Daniel 5:13. [ ¹³ Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?¹⁴ I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.¹⁵ And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing:¹⁶ And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.¹⁷ Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.¹⁸ O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:¹⁹ And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.²⁰ But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:²¹ And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.²² And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;²³ But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:²⁴ Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.

Let’s get this far. now Daniel is nearly 90  years old. Daniel, who had been taken captive in Babylon as a boy, is now well over  80 years old and  nearly 90 years old. Now people have forgotten all about Daniel’s existence. A long time when they forgot everything After. But then there was the queen. We know that the queen was the daughter of King Nebuchadnezzar. He’s an older man, too. She didn’t come to the banquet. But the queen remembered Daniel and was called before King Belshazzar. So now, when a human finger appears and writes, Belshazzar is so scared that his legs are just shaking, think about it. How scary would it be to have a finger and not a person? So when the queen heard what she had said, she called Daniel, and Daniel was sleeping, and suddenly she said, “Come suddenly, so no matter how hurried they were, it must have been a long delay, right? How nervous must King Belshazzar have been? We can see how it feels. Daniel was still a vizier when he was old, and when we go to  chapter 8, verse  27, it says that Daniel did the king’s business. Verse 14 says, ” I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.” They don’t know God’s Holy Spirit. We don’t know. There are three kinds of people in this world. First, there are those who have fallen away from God. There are people who are separated from God. Sinners. Those who do not know God completely, who do not know God, who do not know God, who worship idols in the world, who follow Satan, who do not know where they are going, these are people who belong to the world, who are separated from God. The second, I realized that I was a sinner, and I repented and believed in Jesus Christ. I believed and received the Holy Spirit. Now that I have received the Holy Spirit, I have quit smoking, I have given up alcohol, I have quit drugs, and I have given up all the bad habits of the world. This is a man who is separated from the world. It’s out of the world. It’s separated. The third person is the one who is separated unto God if he does something.  I was consecrated to God. I came out of the world and am separated unto God.  The Apostle Paul said that I have been separated unto the gospel of God. In English, separated unto God was. Many people are born again, but they have just come out of the world and have not been consecrated to God.  In other words, even if you are saved, even if you have the Holy Spirit, there are too many unemployed people in the kingdom of God. There’s nothing to do. Why is there no work? To do the job.  You know the world is going to turn in your resume and say I want to do something like this. But they don’t get a job in God’s kingdom. People who live like this just because they are saved, this is separated from the world, they are separated from the world. They are not separated  unto God. It’s completely bad for God. In other words, there is no job  in the kingdom of God. What kind of person is God, if I ask, God will give me an office. What I’m going to do, what I’m going to do as a deacon or elder in a church, not like this It gives God a work to do.  Then the Holy Spirit gives you an office,  and the Holy Spirit gives you a gift. Then, when you work with your gifts, God works.  This is what we know the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are doing right now. Harmony.  Jesus gives you work and the Holy Spirit gives you gifts, power and love to do things, and then God works when you work. How cool is this.  It’s in 1 Corinthians 12. [The Lord gives offices, the Holy Spirit gives gifts, and God works.] We can see that it is clearly written in the Bible. Daniel is the third person here. He is completely separated unto God.  Doesn’t this King Belshazzar know what the spirit is in this Daniel? So there are spirits of gods, and isn’t Babylon a nation that worships many gods? That’s why all the gods came from Babylon. Take a look. They just changed the name as Catholicism, Buddhism, Muslim, Confucianism, They changed everything, but it’s the same devil.   Take a look. Catholics run rosaries. Buddhists also pray rosaries, right? It’s the same rosary. The devil  has changed the name a little bit,  so what is religion? What is it? They seem different, but they’re all the same. Those who believe in themselves are not idols. That’s why all the gods came from Babylon. Then, during the Tribulation, Babylon the Great will appear.  So it’s weird for John to see it. Babylon appeared again. Then, during the Tribulation, all the demonic and sinful angels crawl down, and they all come down. Just as in Noah’s day, the angels will marry women and give birth to another mighty giant.  Jesus said it is the same as it was in Noah’s day. In the days of Noah, angels came down and married to the daughters of men and gave birth to giants. Look at the mythology of the Greeks. People like Hercules. They’re just dragging the boat along. It didn’t just come out. He said the Lord’s words were the same as they were in the days of Noah. Eating, drinking, marrying, and so on in the days of Noah. And it happened that the angels were cast down to the earth with the devil, and those who were in heaven rejoiced, and they were cast out. But woe to the land and the sea. For Satan the Devil, knowing that the time would be short, went down to the earth in anger.  That’s when there’s going to be an uproar, folks. So a person who is not converted now is a very unhappy person. Everyone who is born into the world is so blessed. Why? They can be born twice. You were born in your mother’s womb, in the water, and then you came out and you didn’t know what it was,  and then you  have to be born again by the Holy Spirit. Being born again of water and the Holy Spirit means that water is water, so why is water, water?. The Lord said water and the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit, through Peter, said that you are born again, not of incorruptible seed, but of incorruptible Instead, it was the eternal word of God.  So if you are born again by the Holy Spirit, you are born again by the Word. But the water keeps coming up. Water is water, isn’t it? I don’t know how people take God’s word and solve it in a strangely symbolic way. Water is water, isn’t it? But the water of the Word, the water of the Word. I keep saying it over and over again. The Bible is what it is. But  how are people born of water and of the Spirit? Don’t you know it when you see it?  Isn’t the mother’s womb water? Isn’t that simple? That’s what most people say. Water is water, and the Word is the Word. But we are born again by the Word, and we are born again by the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit works and gives birth. When you know the whole of this word, you know it clearly, but here  and there a little bit, a   little  bit there, so they fusses with what they hear in their own way, and  when I say that, they thinks it’s weird. I don’t know who’s weird. I was getting a haircut, and the barber was a deacon at a church. When I told him about it, the person who shaved looked at me and said it was weird. That’s why I didn’t say anything. She believes 100% of what he hears from his pastor. It’s not the whole Bible, it’s the word of God that our pastor is talking about. This is how it happened. However, no matter what anyone says, it is God’s word, so we have to look into it. The Bible is heretical without knowing the whole thing, folks. If you look at the book of Isaiah, it’s a little bit here, a little bit here. Heresies are a little bit here, a little here. If you look at Jehovah’s Witnesses.  They just learn that Jesus is not God,  and when I went to Mexico and I met Jehovah’s Witnesses, I asked to bring your Bible. Our Mexican pastor has a Spanish Bible and compares it here, and I read it to him in Spanish. Because I can read it.  They’ve made it up to fit their own doctrine. If you don’t study the entire Bible, you’re a heretic. I mean, how many heresies are there these days, even in Protestantism. Anyone who says to loses your salvation is a heretic. If salvation theory is wrong, it is heresy. No matter what the person may belong to the Presbyterian Church, if he preaches any other evangelism, he is a heretic. Heresy is not because of salvationism. If salvation theory is wrong, it is heresy. You need to know this. It doesn’t matter if any other interpretation is wrong.  You can be ignorant and ignorant. But over time, you’ll realize, right?  That’s why it’s not really that I’m a heretic because I belong somewhere, but that if I preach a different gospel, I’m a heretic. That’s why we have to eat the whole Bible. Many years ago, I met a pastor who translated the King James Bible. As soon as he met me, he said, Pastor Song, please give us a seminary, something like that. I want you to do our Bible seminary. Even if he has his pastor by his side, he does it to me. You don’t know how he was jealous of me. But it didn’t happen, that is. But lately, I’ve noticed that our site has become a seminary. Hey, God did this again. God’s ways are different. So what I prayed was, if you go to the station and preach, you pay for it. Oh, Lord, I asked him to let me do a station,  and he told me that our site is a station. It’s a radio station, it’s a  TV station. That’s what God does. If I paid money to buy a channel, and I prayed and prayed in a human way, and it was done in God’s way. We should entrust everything to God and do it in His way, not in our own way with the knowledge we have learned in the world. You can’t just roll your head. Brainy people keep rolling their heads.  Even those who are born again and those who have good brains keep rolling their heads. No way. It’s better to be ignorant.  Here and now, Belshazzar would only give Daniel this interpretation, and he would dress him in a scarlet robe, put a gold necklace around his neck, and become the ruler of the kingdom. Scarlet, this person didn’t even know what it was. Vermilion symbolizes blood, right? Then there’s the gold necklace, what is gold? It’s God’s divinity, isn’t it? All the inscriptions of God’s temple were covered with pure gold. Who is the ruler of the set?  It symbolizes the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and God the Holy Spirit, the third person. That’s why, through the mouth of King Belshazzar, Daniel is shown to be a type of God the Holy Spirit. Joseph would be the second ruler through Pharaoh, right? Father and Son, Second Reigner. Jesus is the second divinity, the second Godhead. He proclaimed himself a saint through the pharaoh king. Joseph was hated by his brothers and sold into slavery, right? Ditto. Jesus was hated by his brothers. He was hated by the Jews.  And he was sold as a slave and killed. It’s all in the Old Testament. What has been written before is the shadow. But the body is Christ. In other words, if you look at the Old Testament, the Old Testament is all shadows. We need to be able to meet Jesus in the shadows. It’s all shadows, and the body is Jesus Christ. So the people who appeared in the Old Testament were figures, but when they shed light, Jesus just appeared. That’s why I have to read the Old Testament and meet Jesus. How did the Apostle Paul preach Jesus? There were no new testament then. There were no four Gospels. The other New Testament, what he was talking about became the Bible. There wasn’t. All of you have the Old Testament. Even now, we must be able to testify about Jesus Christ with the Old Testament. That’s right, right? How Philip testified of Jesus to an Ethiopian eunuch.  He did it with Isaiah 53. When the Ethiopian eunuch was reading and didn’t know what this meant, the Holy Spirit told Philip to get on his chariot,  and he was reading Isaiah 53.

Who is it? That’s why he testified that it was Jesus. That’s why a Jewish pastor I know says he did.  I was reading Isaiah 53 and met Jesus. And I was born again.    A Jewish pastor. I used to be a psychiatrist, and he said he threw it all away. After believing in the Lord, he got rid of what he was doing.  He used to earn  4~50,000 dollars a month, but he lost it. And he started at  $10 an hour.

         Now, here the king says he’s giving gifts, what does Daniel say? The king will have it, and give the prize to someone else. It’s not usually brave. Then he said the wrong thing to the king, and then he must be dead. If he doesn’t get what the king gives him, it’s a huge challenge. A captive brought from Judah, how? Never be afraid. Not afraid of people. God’s people are not afraid of man. There was a pastor I knew. He’s dead now, but when he prayed and heard from the Holy Spirit to ask the president Clinton to  repent.  When he heard that, he fasted for 40  days. Then he called another pastor and told him to drive for him to Washington. .He visited the White House. But then there was no president, so who was there, El Goern? That’s when the vice president is El Gore, right? He met only El Gore and told him to repent. There was such a person. Isn’t he a brave man? He was originally a carpenter.  He didn’t even go to school for a while. But he only know the Bible. You don’t know how bold he is. There were people like that. How many people are really like that these days? Oh, the president of the United States is not afraid to repent, he went to the White House.  I’m so glad I heard that, he’s such a wonderful man. That’s what I thought.

        Now, this Daniel. When he went there, he saw all the inscriptions from God’s temple, and there was a gold candlestick. There, they took the cup that was in God’s temple and drank it, and how angry he was. Because he is angry,  he asked the king to have the gifts for himself to give others

What is love? Without love, we are nothing, but we do not rejoice in unrighteousness, but in the truth. When injustice comes out, we don’t rejoice, we can just boldly rebuke it. This is love. We rejoice only in the truth, and we rejoice in the word of God. If you do this, God will be responsible for everything. You put one foot in the world and one foot here like this, so this is not working. God can’t help me. How can I help. If you help me, I’ll go out into the world. You have to come in completely. You must throw your bodies completely into a holy living sacrifice pleasing to God. If you die, you will die, like Esther. That’s the way it should be. That’s when God helps. I should never keep rolling the  heads and do it with human thoughts.

You have to give. God wants  100%. That’s what I did to the boys last Sunday when we worshiped in English. Do you know what it means to believe in Jesus? I don’t believe it in moderation, it’s  100%.I’m sure the guys were sober. If this is really something. They go back and forth to church in a worldly way, and I think that’s what they believe. My son heard my sermon for the first time that day. It was mind-boggling.  I’m so grateful. It’s about enlightening them with just one thing. It’s just a stab at it.  It takes about  20 minutes to poke it. Isn’t that something you need to realize? What’s the word? It is alive and vibrant, piercing his spirit, his soul, his marrow, and his joints, and it is splitting them, right? This is the power of God’s word. If you just preach the word, that power will be revealed.  I’m not explaining the word. To preach is to stab yourself completely. But without the Holy Spirit, you can’t do it. That’s how you get born again. That’s why Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are examples for young people today. In fact, in those old days, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not bow down to the golden image. They didn’t bow down, so they took them and threw them into the furnace in the furnace.  At that time,  Danielle was there. How do you know? That’s a place where Daniel shouldn’t be there, he’s a dignitary,  right? There was Daniel, and he probably didn’t bow down. No one knows. He may not have done it, but he was silent when the three of them were taken away. You didn’t tell me what Daniel was talking about, did you? O king! I don’t have a record of what he said. Perhaps Daniel was quite upset at the time. In the Scriptures, “There is no righteous man, there is none, there is not one.” Noah, whom God acknowledged, was also a righteous man, right? Job was also a righteous man, right? Moses was the meekest of men, wasn’t he? David was after my own heart, wasn’t he? But one thing he did was commit great sins. He was guilty of murder, aren’t he? Everyone commits a sin. Without God’s grace. We say it’s the age of grace, but we can’t do it without God’s grace. Dispensationalists are heretics, right? Dispensationalism is not in the Bible.  They’re very extreme dispensationalists, but this is the age of grace and there was no grace in the past. These are extreme people. This is called heresy. From Genesis to Malachi, God’s grace continued even before the Lord’s death. He said Noah found grace in God’s eyes. Daniel was actually blessed. So he would have fasted and prayed afterwards. We all make mistakes like this, and we know that we are not good enough, and that’s why we come to our senses, repent, and come to God. To be proud is to think that I am perfect. Because we don’t have enough in the old days

Remembering what I did wrong, I’m this kind of person, what do I have to say? When you go before the Lord, you can’t condemn anyone. No one can judge. It can happen to me, but if you do something, you judge other people when they make a mistake and fall, right? That person can be guilty of such a sin. That’s why it’s in the Bible. And Daniel knew that Belshazzar was going to die that evening. So that’s what he said  directly. And even if he didn’t accept the gift, he’ll give him the interpretation. If you go to verse 30 beforehand. That night. Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was killed. Well, that’s a historical fact, we’ll talk about later, but there was a tremendous historical fact at that time. Daniel. Before we interpret it, let’s look at verse 18 and preach to the king first.  It’s not about interpretation.  We need to tell you what the king did wrong. Ditto.  The most important thing for those who preach the gospel is to realize that they are sinners and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. You don’t have to teach them the Bible. It’s the same. When you come to church, you have to preach the gospel first, so why don’t you study the Bible for the first time? Absolutely not. First, we need to make them realize that they are sinners. That’s why we need to preach the gospel. In the Sunday sermon, we have to preach the gospel. As I continue to preach the gospel, sometimes I realize, oh, I’m not saved. That’s how thick people’s hearts are.  A heart like a stone, a heart like a roadside,  a  heart like a thorn bush. At some point, when they become good soil, the gospel enters the person, and I realize that he is a sinner. Then he just has to repent. What do you repent of?  It’s about repenting of not believing in Jesus. There’s only one sin.  It’s a sin not to believe in Jesus. I’ve said it many times, but when I was saved, I didn’t rely 100%  on Jesus for not believing in Jesus.  I repented of living without believing. I didn’t believe in Jesus. Someone lent me tens of millions of dollars and they forgave me. Would I trust him or not? Why don’t you talk about him for the rest of your life? We owe ten thousand talents. Ten thousand talents is billions of dollars, tens of billions of dollars. That’s about the amount of money. He forgave me one day. Oh, I don’t have any money, but he forgave me. Oh, I’m a sinner, but you’re innocent. If you really believe this, you’ll be changed by the day. [Look! It is made new.] I’m new. You have to be able to say that. I mean, how many people are there in the world who are actually sitting in church right now, and they’re still there, and they’re just quitting drinking and smoking and they’re content to be a child of God.  If we go to Mexico or something like that, the first thing we do when we preach in Spanish is Tiene Pegados? When I was preaching in Mexico, I went into a fish market, and there were a lot of people, and there were a lot of fish, and I stood in the middle of it and shouted, “You are all sinners! With Spanish. You must be saved! It was. Let’s look at it all. It’s mind-boggling. Thousands of people received the Lord in the streets. The guards are here saying you can’t preach here. Okay,  I’ll do a little bit of that. Then I came out and saw a guard standing there. Tiennepecados? Ono? Are you guilty? I mean, a lot,  and then they accepted the Lord. This is the manifestation of power when God’s Word works. Ladies and gentlemen, the Word of God should not be confined to the church. When you go outside, history has to show up. We must be soldiers of the cross. Pastors, believers,  and people need to go out and show their power to people who come from their workplaces. This is the fragrance of Christ. When they say believe in Jesus, the fragrance of Christ will appear. Then the person who doesn’t believe smells of pain. Because you have to go to hell. That’s why we need to go out and live a life where the power of the gospel is manifested. This is really a man of God. That’s why you have to follow what the Holy Spirit tells you to say. When I go outside, I let the Holy Spirit say what He says. You don’t have anything ready. Who do you know how to meet and prepare a sermon? If you just do it with the Holy Spirit, the work will be revealed.  It’s the same with the pulpit. It’s the same. So verse 19 says, “And all the peoples, peoples, and tongues trembled and feared before him because of the majesty which He had given  him, and if he wanted to kill him, he killed, if he wanted to live,  if he wanted to exalt, if he wanted to humble, he humbled.]

 But Belshazzar, the grandson, was nothing. Here he was a son, and there were several kings after Nebuchadnezzar. They usurped the throne. So there were very few authentic kings. But Belshazzar is the orthodox king. yes, son, that’s what it is. Nebuchadnezzar is not the real son, but a grandson who has passed through generations. That’s why he’s a son. According to the Bible, a son-in-law is also a son.  A son is a son, and a grandson is a son. If you don’t know this well, you might misunderstand why the Bible is the way it is. Yes, verse 20 says, “Because his heart was exalted, and his thoughts were hardened with pride, he was deposed from his throne, and his glory  was taken away.” By saying this here, if you don’t repent, you’re doomed. Daniel already knew the letters. he already know what the letters say, so I’m doing everything I need to say there.  Once upon a time King Nebuchadnezzar was driven out, and he ate grass like an ox, and was wet with the dew of heaven, and when that was done, God smote the kingdoms of men, and He did so until he knew that anyone was nominating him on it. This is what happened to his grandfather

I’m talking about it again. But here’s what it says, in fact, in verse 22, [O Belshazzar, his son, the king, knowing all these things, yet he did not humble his heart].  You’ve heard it all, right? Even though I knew it, I didn’t lower it. In the book of Romans, people who don’t believe in Jesus today know God.  I know everything. They know God, but they don’t give thanks to Him. That’s what they say. Rather, they defile their hearts and sin. I know all about God. So what do you say? When things get tough, God, God. Even those monks do not come out of the Namu Amitabha Buddha when something difficult suddenly happens. Suddenly they are going to die, and when they fall down somewhere, it doesn’t come out, and God, my goodness. This is because the human conscience was created by God.  I know it, but I do it. That’s why no one has an excuse. The Bible says that there is no excuse for not knowing Jesus.

       Belshazzar knew this, but he was proud. Oh, how much do people know about the Bible these days? They know it, but they don’t do it. Someone came to my mentor, the pastor. She came to me saying that she was being persecuted because of her husband. So he asked. This woman is born again. Did you know or did you not know that this husband was born again when you got married? She said she didn’t know. He just sent her back. What is it in the Bible? [Do not be yoked with unbelievers], right? You told me to marry a believer, didn’t I? Oh, if you marry me, you’ll believe me. It’s all deceived. Guys, yes, when you get married, I’ll go to church. One missionary, the daughter of a pastor, married and persecuted for 40  years. When she was on the verge of divorce, her husband was taken away and repented.  I’ve been struggling for 40 years. He (the mentor) doesn’t have a way. Because she (the woman) was wrong. I sent it back. You have to suffer for it. There’s no way.  That’s why people are so ignorant these days. So when children get married, they should never be born again, and if one of them is not converted, they will die. I can’t do  it when I’m  50.It’s better not to do that. That’s really important to us. The boys are older, but I don’t have to worry about them if they don’t get married. When the time came, one of the children found a real born-again man. I couldn’t find it. Why don’t they get married? I met a man who was born again in  his 40’s and now lives happily ever after. What does it matter if age is just a number?  It doesn’t matter if you’re born again. Verse 23 says, “The God who is His, who all the ways are His…”.If you look at Acts 17:28, it was like that: “We live, move, and exist in Him.” Buddhists say we are in the palm of the Buddha’s hand, but that’s not it. The Buddha is in the palm of God’s hand. Live in Him and move in Him,

It’s there. That’s what we need to realize. Amen! As I said before , Romans  says, “They knew God, but they did not glorify Him, nor give thanks to Him, but their imaginations were vain, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” And  then they say, “They say they’re wise, but they’ve become clueless, and they don’t believe. and change the glory of the incorruptible God into the image of a corruptible man.] Isn’t this evolutionary theory?  They say monkeys are people. [He changed them into the likeness of birds, and four-legged beasts, and creeping things.] There’s something like this. Finally, Daniel speaks. He sent forth his finger, and the eagle was written. God sent. I proclaim: So now I’m going to interpret them one by one. We’ll look at this interpretation tomorrow. I will pray.
